I'm sure you can but your logic for determining that 2 mph is the top speed for the 8 row is completely flawed.
If you can go 5 mph with the 6 row without throwing corn out the back the guy with the 8 row on the same combine should be able to go 3.75 mph without throwing corn out the back and will get more done/day because he will spend less time turning around and he will do a better job getting corn into the head.
