And I bet I can go faster than 2 mph with an 8 row if you're going 5 mph with a 6 row.  Its all about combine capacity, you go faster with a narrower header, slower with a wide one.  Its still the same amount of material going through the machine.  And sometimes,,,,, the wider header, due to slower speed with have less MOG in the machine and thus have greater productivity.
