As a die hard notiller I would apply my .02 just for thought stimulation........will notill work everywhere?.....yes. Will it work the way I want it to?.....no. Long before man ever came to this lovely place we farm and decided to turn the dirt over and make it black it was all notill. Every acre in the world at one time was 100% notill. Are you going to be able to do continuous notill corn in the red river valley and hope to have it planted by may 5th.....fat chance. Maybe the fields that everyone say can never be notilled maybe just have the wrong plants growing on them. Im not saying everyone should be notill but maybe that corn/soybean ground you disc rip the heck out of so you can plant corn will probably more than suit a life long pasture grass that you graze with animals. The only thing that I know for certain is NoTill works on my farm because I manage it as a whole systems approach.

Do you irrigate?
