southern MN | How does notill deal with rough ground?
About the only notill done here is alfalfa ground for 5-6 years, and the gopher mounds, coyote dens, and other burrowing creatures cause us to rip up some alfalfa before it needs to be, just because the ground gets so rough you can't drive over it.
What do you do for that in notill? How do you hang onto the steering wheel planting or combining after a half dozen years?
