I think 1GB bandwidth was a reasonable assumption.  Just a few cameras out there.  Way faster than any internet out here, anyway.  Although now I want to put a fiber line into a tile plow and head for town myself ...

Dad started with a home ethernet in the late 80s? and so I've pulled and planned a fair amount of increasingly higher CATx cables through wire chases.  Didn't want to build myself into a corner for failure of planning ahead.

Thanks for the info.  Very on target and helpful.
