I think there are a few specialty F4's still fl;ying with a couple of countries. Many of ours were converted for drone target use. Really tough, reliable (except for 50's avionics) old jet. Not much for fuel economy- in full burner used 2000#/min I believe. Aerodynamics of a brick but was a really solid comfortable ride low and fast. Worst thing about the F-16 was no left hand version. Time flies. Davis Monthan boneyard is now full of f15's/16's/18's,etc.
