Vulgar phrase??? I can't fathom how any part of my statement above could be misconstrued as "vulgar". As far as flaming someone for their misgivings about a conventional program, reread what I wrote. I didn't chastize the op for no-tilling or even say that it couldn't work, I was simply stating that no-till isn't the silver bullet for every situation and the "neighbor" is no more wrong for ripping than the op for choosing not to. This idea that by choosing a more conventional program if it fits the whole operation and the individual farm is somehow destroying the future of ag is absolutely absurd.
