| To all the ranters above- there has to be a compromise. Big farms run big equipment, big equipment causes compaction, compaction robs them of yield. If they ran no-till their ground might have more OM, but it would be very hard ground. If those farmers want to help feed the world they need to try to get optimum yield, which sometimes means conventional tillage. Not hating on no-till, alot of my friends do it, it just doesnt work for everyone. | |
