I wouldn't consider the soil health on our farms to be poor, we have very respectable OM levels. Yield and soil health are not independent of one another as you will only take your yields so far by simply pouring on more commercial fertilizer. In fact our yields have increased signifigantly, while bushels per unit of commercial fertilizer has increased across the board in the last 10 years all the while working ground. I guess I get paid for yield so that's what I focus on.
