| I've had the document I scanned for many years. It was written in the 1960's and it goes back to the 1800s - for Iowa only - as it was by the State University. There is a fascinating section on the WW1 bubble. The direct quotes from people and the real examples of farms lost, including their leverage levels are historically important I believe.
I do not feel the government will allow that to play out again, but that is nothing more than my opinion. I'll scan the text parts of the doc and make a new thread one of these days. There are important lessons buried in this history. | |
