Michigan | The agreement is I pay the entire tiling bill. The entire farm is about 85 acres total and my rent is very reasonable,so with an investment of $50k over 10 years, the rent would increase $58 per acre. That increase would make my rent for tiled farmland still very reasonable for this area.( plus the tile is depreciated on my taxes)
Also the agreement is,if the owner passes away or the land gets sold, things get pro-rated, ie= five years down the road I quit farming or land gets sold the owners have to pay me back the remainder of the investment
