What part of capacity don't you understand? 20 x 3mph/10 = 6 acres an hour times what ever efficiency factor you choose. 15 x 4mph/10 = 6 acres/hour times a lesser factor for all the turns you will make. You can only harvest so many bushels per hour regardless of the combination of header width and ground speed when using the same combine. If a 1660 harvests 1000 bushel an hour it will do that with any size head that it is capable of picking up, but the wider one will always be more efficient all else equal because it will make 25% fewer passes and turns to cover the same area. Tthere may be other reasons not to use the bigger head such as weight or not having a grain cart like I said, but from a capacity standpoint it will be more efficient.
