Subject: RE: Soybeans deep or shallow

East central iowa
I plant beans 1 3/4 regardless of the year. I have done the 1” BS and got burned, never again. I firmly believe there is a yield advantage to planting soybeans 1 3/4-2” deep. This year I planted 2” being dry. Up in 7 days. I screwed up a depth setting on a pusher unit and planted a row 3” deep accidentally. They seem to be just fine
