Roaming the plains

What is herd immunity?  Meaning: percentage for it to be a thing?

What is it normally for a virus?
Number for Covid?
What was the goal 12 months ago?
now?

209M adults in US.
32M cases
100M total vaccinated  [144M with 1 shot]
Assuming the 144M will complete their shots = 69% of US adults vaccinated by end of the month.

Add in the positive cases and more to continue to receive vaccinations we will be around or over 84%.

My numbers came from the CDC as of April 29.
