Mid Mo | I totally understand what you are saying about the unknown long term affects after contracting Covid. I also agree that these are not discussed or even mentioned - only the current numbers.
The other thing that is not being discussed though, is the unknown long term affects of the Vac. A Vac that has been developed with new, unproven methods and no one knows how that may play out, especially for the younger generation.
I believe both are conversations that should be had.
I'm reminded of my MIL a couple years before she passed while she was mid 80's and in poor health. One of her prescriptions had a warning that continued use for more than 10 years may cause cancer. She refused to take that med.
I'm also reminded of my FIL who got a new car when he was 89 and insisted on getting the 7 year warranty. He's 93 now and I wouldn't be surprised to see him use the full 7 years of the warranty.
One just never knows.
BTW - I took the vac........ not because I really wanted to but I have a big trip planned out of the country later this year and I really want to do that.
