North of London | Farm kids have probably been exposed to a lot more situations like that so can fix lots of stuff IF they have the tools too.
However some city kids have parents who teach them how to do regular maintenance and repairs so it has to do with the upbringing.
Perhaps as much to do with being trained to think a situation through and just try to fix it rather than wait for someone else with experience to do it for them.
Guess that is how we get experience, trying to fix it ourselves so maybe it is confidence that is required. | |
