Subject: RE: Aftermarket autosteer valve question?

Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

FYI:

I asked an Ag Leader sales person about autosteering for a 8410 tractor. He mentioned there are 2 systems available and it depends on your serial number , which one you need; and he mentioned one unit is quite a bit more expensive, then the other unit.

I didn't go any further, with that conversation, but it was interesting that "one unit doesn't fit ALL 8410 tractors".

Don't know if it applies to the 8x20 series, or not.

You didn't mention if you bought this "used" or new.

Do you remember the Planter hydraulic hose thread, where the guy that made the new hydraulic hose, crimped on the hydraulic hose end too tight and restricted the flow of oil?  {just saying, not every "new part " is perfect, 100% of the time }

None of the info, may even be helpful, but I thought I would throw it out there.
