SESD
I put an Integra and steercommand on a MX285 Magnum with a vickers valve a few years ago. The valve was already installed and was controlled with and Insight and Nav and worked fine, just wanted to upgrade the display. What you describe reminds me of that one, not enough degrees per second etc. During the setup on the Integra I think the monitor asked if it was a vickers 12v or 24v. I didn't know at the time so I figured most valves were 12v and chose that. I'm pretty sure it ended up being a 24v, we switched that in the settings or configuration and it's worked well since. I can't say much about the plumbing, load sense or why the wheels turn faster with an scv engaged though.
