| I haven't been there since early spring of 1969. The horse country in KY is nice, but a drive back in the hills was really interesting to me. Around Hazard. I had a friend from school who was teaching physics in a jr college in Pippa Passes. Fascinating country - to me, at least. I rolled my 66 Triumph out of the camper shell (I slept right beside it - gas fumes and all) and I went sightseeing. Visiting a friend, I was able to meet people and hear stories too. It is a part of KY that few see and if you are traveling through, it might be worth a short side trip.
