it won't be for everyone, but my bride indulged me by going to: https://internationaltowingmuseum.org/   in Chatanooga.  I thought it was a good deal for 3-4 hours.   


Chatanooga was a fun town to explore. Civil war museums, a river, kind of interesting look to downtown. The Tennessee Valley rail museum runs a variety of trips in and around the area.
