Southwest OK | I’m about 100 miles north of Texas, and other than those calving, we’re doing just fine. Even though we have broken the longest stretch below zero, set in 83, most snow in a winter set in 46-47, and coldest windchill, also set in 47. To say this is something we should be prepared for, doesn’t take into account how momentous this event truly is.
I’ve had two technical blizzards 2007, 2011, but both times lows were above zero, and snow was gone in less than a week. It’s not so much the temps, as it is the duration.
