Fontanelle, IA | I don’t want to come off as a Richard but this kind of strikes a nerve with me.
Mother Nature always throws curve balls. And, when she focuses the brunt on you, you feel pain. Some backup plans are always necessary - but some of the reaction times and actions are 2nd and 3rd reactions from crap that fell apart also that you least expected.
Our beef industry has been hit quite a few times as of late... you would think a little compassion is in order.
1. Atlas blizzard
2. 2019 or 2018 massive thaw/MO river floods out eastern 1/2 of NE during calving
3. Rain after rain after rain in MO in 2019 on unfrozen ground... combined with a hay shortage.
4. Do we add in hurricanes also?
Flame me if my dates are off. Don’t care. A little compassion goes a long ways... you can critique and coach later. | |
