Aberdeen MS
You don't even have to be a big operator to "a load" snuck under the radar. A number of years ago low areas just weren't maturing at the rate of the rest of the field. We are talking 9% beans vs 24% green ones.

It was wide spread and every one was trying to "hide" the crappy ones from getting caught on dockage. I combined all around the crappy ones and took in straight clean dry beans. Then I went back and hammered out the crap ones and put them on the small single ax truck and hauled em in. Before pulling on the scale, went in and talked with the alley manager, told him what I had, and said if you take them....dock what you have to no hard feelings.

He said bring em in, when I grabbed the scale ticket the moisture was marked 13% no dockage. I told him that wasn't fair, he told me....everyone else is hiding them, you were truthful. I appreciate that.
