| Yep, thread like this and others about ILFF make me happy that after college I decided if I ever was going to farm, I was going to own the land. It was tough getting started and tougher to expand. It is not a solution for all, but over time with a lot of effort it pays off quite well. I-R-A, S-T-O-C-K, C-D, I have very little, my retirement fund is L-A-N-D. farmguy, the plus to your thought is that if it fails or one of the landlords wants to sell, you may very well be in the driver's seat. Behind every problem, lurks opertunity. My overall thought on FF is you gotta love 'em for what they are tryin' and hate 'em if they are killin' your future. Just part of the R-I-S-K in any business.
