I don't know if the "no dock" story is true. The story came a friend of a relative and I was helping put a new roof on his house when he told it. The BTO farms just up the road from him, I really don't know if they have anything close to me.
Delivering quality grain was one of the "little things" I referred to in my other post. If the 400,000 was a total loss. 400,000 X $4 ( ? ) = 1,600,000 divided by 20,000 (acres of corn ?) = $80 lost per acre could be quite an "equalizing factor". | |
