I must be one of the lucky ones. Had my gall bladder removed bout 15 years ago and have never had any side effects from it.
Eat and drink whatever and whenever I fell like it.


Ditto, only mine came out nearly 30 years ago. I am aware of a previously healthy 26 y/o who had gall stones drop into his common bile duct which then went on to cause pancreatitis. (This was decades ago.) He became septic and the pancreatic enzymes began digesting the pancreas itself. Although he nearly died, he survived but became a diabetic virtually overnight. It was ugly.
