| Man iowa has been hit with a double whammy. A person can manage with poor prices if they have a bumper crop. A person can manage a poor crop if they have good prices. What a person can’t manage is both poor prices and a poor crop, especially if your neighboring states are combining their all time largest crop. I am so thankful we have the crop insurance safety net that we never had before. It would give a man grey hair in the prime of their life.
At least iowa farmers are man enough not to constantly whine and cry. Ya all are salt of the earth. | |
