Brown top to bottom on Sep. 1st is normal with an April 15 planting date??? Um, No. Not unless the crop got pushed extremely fast to the finish. Which has proven time and time again to not be the way to make big yields. Cool, slow finishes are what makes big crops. My guess is if we were having a cool slow finish, you would be tooting the same horn.
