Subject: RE: Orign of the Idea to Double Crop Soybeans

I remember my dad double croping corn for silage behind wheat in the late '50s and early 60's. In the late 60's while I was away in school and army, no-till farming started in western KY following innovaters Harry Young and Shirley Phillips. Dad and others quickly adapted no-till to double crop soybeans behind wheat as soon as the AC no-till planter became available.
