| Can't really help much with the origin of double cropping. In northern Missouri we were doing quite a bit in the mid seventies with this Allis planter set up for no-till. Actually did a very good job planting, couldn't go too fast with the big wavy coulters as they would throw out too much soil if you did. Planting in standing wheat stubble took some concentration because the markers weren't much help.
