This will help anyone "remember" how many tools they had, before a thief occurs. 

Open every drawer, and take a photo.
Take photos, of what is hanging on walls, in corners, etc.


My insurance company wanted every detail of my hand tools, that were stolen from my pickup truck's tool box and from behind the front seat. (after that list was made, by me, then they wanted prices for each tool/socket/wrench = this was very time-consuming; but they did pay, after I gave them the list/prices) 

2 weeks later, you will find you missed some items (for the list); this is where a photo, would have been helpful.
