If everything in a strip or corridor is managed to take advantage of the extra sunlight yields and profits in the system both increase. 12 rows is too big to get the greatest benefit but still has potential. With.the corridor if you can gain forage for livestock and N for next season you have a better Net profit. 95% on here would say just farm everything in two crops get the tick better yields and buy forage for your livestock and purchase N for the next crop like everyone else does. Lucky for the ones that are constantly trying new things they are mainly organic or just farmers that have no desire to be a part of the herd doing the same things. A 20 bushel increase or 50-90# of N from a cover is a lot bigger deal with a better multiplier. They don't need ease of planting spraying and harvesting. They need weed control....disease control....and stability in a long term system. And with research will have a much better soil structure and profitability than the lather rinse repeat easy button system production ag seems to love.
