Here’s a pic of 60” corn with Iron and Clay cow peas. Peas were planted at the same time, cultivated three times, corn ridged the last cultivation. The plan is to mow the peas and weeds in August.
Pics of your cultivator with the ridging wings on?
Here are some pics of the ridging wings we put on for ridging every other row Kinze 1500. They are only 5” tall, Eli says they should be 1 1/2” taller. They are 16” long making them about 18” wide. Our other cultivator set up for 30 ridging also has “custom” wings, 6” tall and a little longer. I have welded flat plates to S-tine and chisel plow sweeps to make ridging wings.
