So why are you talking about hogs and not chickens?
I don’t know really. Have no passion for a chicken like I do pigs. Those Chicken factories are the only thing that allows me and my dad to farm full time. For that I am very grateful. But I hate them. I mean I loath them. I just tell people they’re the work part of my job. Everything else is the fun part.
I actually think the model works better with chickens than it does hogs. But how much better would it be if we could make it with two houses instead of 6 or 8 or 12? Spread it out over more farmers. That’s the key. Those chickens wouldn’t be to bad if I only needed 2 houses for me and dad to survive. |
