My daughter is struggling to stay on it again. She lost her husband to cancer a few years ago, has met a new really nice guy and they hit it off. When she was home by herself or hanging around with us she stayed on it easy and lost about 50 pounds. She is still doing "ok", but with the new beau and them doing so much together she is getting in a lot of social situations where like you with the cookies it is hard for her to say no. So her carb cravings are back. And that makes it tough.

I just have to say no. A lot of people probably can scale carbs and just manage through willpower. I had an addiction. I know if I get started back down that path I will be just like an alcoholic with "only one drink". So I just avoid it. I have no cravings at all now, and I want to keep it that way.
