Subject: RE: confirmation of pain reduction

Pittsburg, Kansas

Before one of my operations I could not even get out of bed for a month before the scheduled operation. They could not get me in earlier. In the other two I could at least get out of bed and crawl on my hands and knees to the bathroom. You find out if your wife is truly committed to you when she has to wipe your butt like a baby for a month. That time my world shrunk down to an imaginary sphere of about 6' around me. The pain was so bad it was just trying to exist for the next 5 minutes. The only time I got any sleep is just when my body was so exhausted I could not do anything but sleep. Like you said, pain meds did not touch it. Don't want to go through that again.

Have not been totally pain free since till I got off the sugar/carbs. It was manageable pain, but I took a lot of ibuprofen, alieve and tylonol for a long, long time. Way too long. If I behaved it was not too bad. If I abused it I would be in bed for a day.

No more.

John
