East central Iowa
Great job Old Iron, has to feel good!

This will be my last year for row crops. I have been planning for a while now. I'm only 55 and work a side business so that helps making a clear path forward.

I'm a STO with old equip., but I really don't want to keep going just to buy more parts and equip.

I can rent out my own land and put just as much to the bottom line. The numbers don't lie.
It feels like giving up but us small time guys really don't have a place in corn/soy production ag.
I just can't do the 16hrs days in crunch time anymore.
I've discussed renting to a young guy. He seems happy to increase his acres.
