Sorry I thought you were talking about the hog index, there's probably a cattle index that I'm not familiar with.


I think the real problem with all of these markets is that the front month should always be in "delivery" and it should be easier to make a delivery or force a delivery to be made (if you're long and want to take delivery).

Simple solution. Without delivery you might as well be playing poker with chips. Except the chips are cattlemens lives.
