Subject: RE: Cover crop termination timing for soybeans?

Mid-Michigan
I use wheat, peas and radishes for a cover. Only my wheat is alive. I try to kill my wheat and anything else about 2 or 3 days prior to planting corn. That will give me about 10 days for the wheat to die before planting beans
I use round up and sharpen or 24d. I like as many weeds to come up as I can. I plant right into the dead cover (no tillage at all. It works well for me.
