Northwest Ohio
A local valent rep has had success stunting cereal rye in the spring and maybe it will work on your barely. I believe it is the classic in the mix that really stunts the rye. Here is what I have for notes
2 1/2oz valor XLT (1oz classic, 1.5oz valor)
1 - 1 1/2oz valor (1- 1 1/2oz valor)
24d
and maybe metribuzin

Plant green and spray rup or roll/crimp if rye is full headed out

Don't think your clover will make it and I don't know about valor on your low cec soils.
