Glasgow, Ky

MSB,

"In the end I need a reason to keep on, keeping on and the farm, the family and church life all fill that need. Realistically though, serving God,the church and my community are my greatest pleasure these days "

I think the above statement you made pretty well covers all the bases.  The farm is still an important part of your life.  The spiritual aspect of farming is something we many times overlook.  Many of my most spiritual times have come while out working on the farm and seeing the beauty God has given us.  When my father passed away several years ago I felt (and still do) a sense of peace and closeness to him when working on his farm.   The same holds true for my grandfathers farm.

The farm can be a blessing for years to come for future generations of your family.   I pray that you will continue doing what you most enjoy.  Serving God and your church, enjoying your family and taking care of the land that God has blessed you with.

May your days be long and richly blessed.
