Lapel, In | Lymphoma- listed only to identify the type of cancer I had. I think there are 167 different types. No reoccurence as of now. I guess if I had even some idea as to how long I have, it would be a lot easier to make that decision, but since I have already beaten the odds, how far do I push fate? Am I being selfish? Debt is almost a non factor. Grain and equipment sales would more than cover that.I guess I could sell off most of my antique tractors and equipment and forego the plans to build a hen house .lol. Probably go nuts (STRESS) if I sold out the farm and stress is the last thing I need. Want to stay around to see those little grandkids grow up or at least get them up so I can share some of what I have learned ,especially a part of some of the mistakes I have made. In the end I need a reason to keep on, keeping on and the farm,the family and church life all fill that need. Realistically though,serving God,the church and my community are my greatest pleasure these days. | |
