| Bought my first in 1999 after my grandfather passed away. He owned 2 80 acre parcels. I bought the 80 on which I live and my dad bought the other 80, which is also his first farm. Bought my second in 04 after dad's uncle passed away.
Was blessed in the fact that the heirs wanted to see the land stay in the family, especially with my grandfathers place. There were 15 brothers and sisters to deal with.
The best part of it all is, I paid off the home place this year. Felt real good.
