This is ridiculous. If one takes PP there should be no further income off that ground for the year. Even the November 1 deadline is ridiculous. If one takes the payment that should be the end of it. If one needs feed than take the payment reduction and put something in for feed.
Exactly, plant something for feed and dont take the PP payment, you dont get to double dip. Getting paid as well as getting to make the feed, that's not fair for everyone. What happens when the summer dries up and I only get one cutting on alfalfa? I'm not getting a payment on that loss.
