Beresford, SD | Not here. Many farmers will just take full PP payment and let ground sit idle or do covers and sit tight until Nov 1. A fool would give up 65% of their PP corn payment to raise a low value forage. It’s simple math. Most livestock producers planted as much as possible as late as they dared to make feed. If know I sure did and have a lot of cut up fields.....not pretty. | |
