How many times have you heard “Can’t go broke selling at a profit” over the last year. Well you can when you don’t get the corn planted and have to buy out of your contract at a higher price.
Don’t see many people fessing up to there horrible sales.
How many rich farmers do you see posting here? How many people do you see giving out advice from there crap tractor?
For what it is worth never do a hedge to arrive with an elevator, just sell a contract on the CBOT, pay your margin money and be free to do what works best for you. Farmers around here are learning this or are just not paying attention. | |
