The word implausible to me means a condition that cannot possibly occur, regardless of the mechanical state of a component, or a malfunction. An example of an implausible fault code might be when an engine oil pressure sensor is reporting 50 PSI with the engine not running.

In the case of the SCR system, an implausible code might be logged when the outlet NOx sensor is reporting a far higher reading than the inlet. That would be about as likely as a DPF differential pressure sensor seeing much higher pressure on the outlet side of the DPF than on the inlet side.
