Alberta, Canada
Hey Craig, I'm not knocking what you do by any means, I like my MF SP discbine too, including the double conditioner, as well as my 2170 baler. What I'm wondering is what prevents tractors (let's say 300hp high speed CVT units) with mounted mowers from catching on in your part of the world?

For me, I need conditioning to dry, ground moisture doesn't let me use "spread it out bleach it out" method, and I definitely don't feel the butterfly mowers are built the way my Hesstons are.

If I get heavy into hay I'm planning on mounting 2-3 Hesstons headers on a big tractor, should be able to do 50 acres/hour with one operator.

Until then I may get a used 9870/80/90, seeings how they lose their resale value pretty drastically within a few short seasons.
