Organic matter is carbon so yeah I guess that works.

What I’m trying to say is if you want to cut rates make sure you have the carbon in your soil to do it. Whether you read your carbon levels with organic matter in a normal test or you get a soil health score test done and it gives you true Carbon and also carbon to nitrogen ratios of your soil.
