Not a dairy farmer; what's wrong with pressure washers?
The way the inspector explained it to me is that it’s a pump pulling water from a system that’s supposed to have positive pressure. In theory with positive pressure there could be a leak underground but since water is going out the water in the pipe isn’t contaminated. If the pressure washer pulls more than the system can supply the pressure in the pipes will go negative, and can pull contaminants in through the leak. |
